About this Position

We’re looking for a Margin Controller Associate to monitor commercial performance and identify opportunities to improve margin and profitability across brands, vendors, categories, SKUs, channels, and hubs. You’ll work closely with Commercial, Category, Campaign, Pricing, and CorpFin teams to turn data into actionable insights and support margin improvement initiatives.

Job Description

As our Astronaut, your missions are:

  • Maintain and update weekly SKU-level dashboards across stores, platforms, and hubs to monitor key commercial performance metrics, including sales, margin, and profitability.
  • Analyse brand, vendor, category, SKU, channel, and hub performance across key metrics such as sales, margin components (front margin, back margin, ads, etc.), profitability, OOS, AOV, and CVR to identify performance gaps, issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support commercial and margin improvement initiatives, including trading terms, vendor rebates, pricing, promotions, SKU/category prioritization, and other initiatives to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Track and evaluate initiative performance by monitoring targets, actual results, and financial impact, and support follow-up actions when performance is below expectations.
  • Assist in data validation and issue investigation, including identifying data discrepancies and supporting root-cause analysis for pricing, shrinkage, cost deviations, and other margin-related issues
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and insight packs and collaborate with Commercial, Category, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to support decision-making and process improvements.

KUALIFIKASI MINIMUM

In order to launch the missions successfully, you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or other relevant fields.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Commercial, Business Analysis, Revenue Management, Category Management, E-commerce, or Retail. Fresh graduates with strong analytical/project experience may also be considered.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and good understanding of sales, margin components (front margin, back margin, ads), profitability, OOS, AOV, and CVR.
  • Strategic Thinking: Able to connect data with business performance, identify opportunities/risks, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Proactive in identifying problems and opportunities, taking ownership, and driving tasks from analysis through follow-up.
  • Structured thinker with strong attention to detail and communication skills, comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
